On December 16th, Tyler Dockery, creative lead with Dockery Design, spoke with Business Networking International on the topic of growing your business with social network.
Dockery Design is a graphic design firm and web design studio in the Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill area of North Carolina. As an active design firm, Dockery Design takes social networking for their team and customers very seriously. “Most businesses today are very interested in using social networking to grow their business, but they don’t know where to start. They do a little dabbling with social networking, but they are unsure how to take the next step and grow their circle.” Noted Tyler.
During his talk, Tyler Dockery focused on Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn, producing a detailed paper: The Do’s and Don’ts of Growing Your Business with Social Networking. In the paper, Tyler detailed the primary uses for Twitter, Blogs, Facebook, and LinkedIn. In laying out the Do’s and Don’ts, Tyler Dockery detailed which things will be positively received, and which things will be negatively received in each system. He also noted what aspects of your business are most well-suited for the social network in question.
Tyler supplied concrete ways that small businesses and large businesses alike can grow their business through the use of social networking. Using this system, tyler further laid out real methods of growing your social media circle within Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
Tyler finished his discussion by discussing social networking platforms, like Friendster, MySpace, Plaxo, Orkut, and Google Wave. The crowd seemed to find a good deal of important information here, and several members asked about having this information laid out in a business whitepaper on the Dockery Design website. Plans are in the works for a completed whitepaper in early 2010.

Well, Pirmasens, I feel you can take this information and really strike out on your own. The major reasons for social media is to build a strong social and personal connection with the others in your group, or build your group to the point that you will be accepted and included as a matter of trust and habit. Seeking a lavish house frequently involves effort and time.
This can be such a excellent useful resource that you will be providing and you also provide away without cost. I really like understanding web sites that comprehend the value of furnishing a quality resource without spending a dime.
