Dockery Design Presents at the University of West Georgia

Just finished a whirlwind travel expedition to Carrollton, Georgia, where I presented a set of brochures to the University of West Georgia.

The University of West Georgia has commissioned Dockery Design, a graphic design firm and web design studio located in the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill Triangle Area of North Carolina to produce a new eCore materials package including logo versions, educational brochure, and graphic standards manual.

“This brochure will connect to the eCore student at the most basic and visceral level— encouraging them and reminding them that they can achieve their degree, and that the eCore program is a great way to begin that process. The reader has already made the decision that they want to earn their degree, but something in their life is holding them back. This brochure makes a personal connection with the viewer and lets them know that they can achieve their dream of a degree, and they can begin that process through eCore.”

eCore allows students to pursue their degree by  taking up to two years of quality education in an online environment. The 24 classes in the eCore program are sanctioned and approved by the SACS, and will transfer to 35 schools within the University System of Georgia, and will be recognized by most colleges and universities. eCore is not a full degree program, but is a great way to return to school after a break, or begin your degree.

Tyler Dockery, creative lead with Dockery Design presented materials to the Associate Dean of Extended Degrees and USG eCore, Melanie Clay, Ph.D., Stacy Rowland, and Craig Brown, as well as additional eCore staff.

“These are incredibly professional and technically mastered. Wow, I can’t believe how great these look!”
“This makes us look like we are national providers. This is really going to blow people away.”
“It is going to be difficult to choose. Each of these options really goes beyond our expectations.”

This project should be wrapped up before the end of the year, and we’ll post some images when this is put out for the world to see.
