Working with other Designers and small businesses in the North Carolina, Dockery Design tends to find that people really seem to be surprised when they receive good service from a graphic or web designer. It seems rather strange really. You want a satisfied customer, so you show up on time, with multiple options to choose from, your ego isn’t in the way, and you make changes when they ask for it. It’s not rocket science, and there’s no silver bullet, you just give the service that you would like to receive if you needed help.
But apparently, it just seems to catch most of our customers by surprise. That’s why they come back to us. Its not the fact that we network in Raleigh, Durham, or Chapel Hill; It’s not the ties we wear, its not how the marketing materials really POP. Its great service, fine products, and a real concern with helping people communicate.
In this blog, our team will seek to help other designers keep a keen edge by offering them tutorials and instruction, and we will also help small business people keep the edge in their business, while networking and meeting potential leads or referrals, and while marketing within and outside of their company
